An operetta, which according to the "legend", contributed to the creation of the Moscow Operetta Theater in 1927. Originally, the play was written for a drama theater as a light musical comedy. Then Dunayevsky added more musical numbers, and now we have a musical comedy: with a live orchestra, soloists, chorus and ballet.
As you can guess from the name, it will be about persistent proposals of marriage: the object of interest of five suitors is a widowed young innkeeper... or rather her inn, which, alas, they cannot marry...
NB! Smoking on-stage.
