DAUGAVPILS THEATRE's GUEST PERFOPRMANCE

Due to an agency error, two couples rent the same cottage for the weekend at the same time, and neither of them wants to give in. A decision is made: everyone stays and spends the weekend together. However, the next morning, it becomes clear that it is not easy for different generations to find a common language, and this unusual long weekend will reveal both the strengths and weaknesses of their relationships. "Everything changes. And love does, too," says one of the characters, and the play proves that sometimes this is not so bad.

Director Oleg Shaposhnikov: "This performance can be compared to a group psychotherapy session, in which a cheerful narrative makes you take a serious look at the problems of married life, while the audience's reactions to the paradoxes become a healing agent. The production will be interesting to everyone – both to those, who have recently started living together, and those, who have been married for a long time. However, we hope that it will be especially useful for young couples - without waiting for the situations, presented in the play, to be repeated in their lives, they will be able to think about how to maintain the intensity of feelings in their relationships."
