If Oscar Wilde in 1887 knew Gothics would be so popular in the 20th and 21st centuries, he certainly would have written a sequel to his story. And if he managed to live on till nowasays, he would surely come to Riga Russian Theatre to enjoy this production because Alexey Shcherbak wrote his own version of this fascinating story about one American family. The head of the said family, Mr. Hiram B. Otis, bought an old English castle, and along with it, as it turned out, also the family ghost. Ghosty Sir Simon de Canterville is not really pleased with the invasion of the "vulgar Americans" into his castle.
