When you are forced to interrupt a romantic elopement because your driver has lost his way, it is certainly unpleasant. It is still tolerable, if you there is a suitable hotel nearby, for otherwise you can possible find yourself a guest (or a prisoner?) of one eccentric gentleman with a very unusual hobby...
All this sounds intriguing and ominous, doesn’t it? But the man, who gave to the world such a miracle as Winnie the Pooh, could not have written an unkind play: "The Dover Road" is an elegant British comedy, charmingly combining paradoxes, lyricism, mischief and delicate irony.
