Andrey Shipuchin, a chairman of a bank, looks forward to a solemn event - the celebration of the anniversary of his commercial establishments. And all of a sudden...
Unexpected, absurd, anecdotic events follow one another. This day in the Shipuchins’ house would be remembered for a long time...
Anton Chekhov, a writer and physician, as always, ironically speaks of the serious and without a smile - of the ridiculous.
The title of the production provokes word games, leading to a question – did this all really come out “boiled”? Actually, it did not. And it's all thanks to super professional director Belyavsky’s sense, his understanding of Chekhov’s humor, as well as the passion of talented actors of different generations. Audience was almost constantly laughing.

Director intentionally does reveal what ingredients were used to prepare this scenic cocktail. He, on the contrary, leads the viewers to enjoy all of the components themselves. Already from the beginning the features of vaudeville are evident. The performance is easy, airy and musical.
